$40.00

This is a digital reproduction of an original illustration I did using graphite and colored pencils.  Printed on crisp, firm 100 lb card stock measuring approximately 11" x 14". All prints are packaged with a clear plastic sheath and a thick mat board backing for protection.

This is an image from the project for the 2023 Calendar about Relationships

What is your relationship to CARE?

What parts of your life require you to give and/or receive committed, steady care?

Writer and activist Rosalynn Carter says, “There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who need caregiving.” I love this reminder that we are all giving or receiving care throughout all of our life journey! Giving care can mean so many things.  What are some examples of ways you care for others?  Animals? Children? Family and Friends? Examples of ways you receive care?  Are there any webs or networks of care of which you are a part?  Neighbor relationships or support groups? Are there structured or spoken agreements about the support systems in which you participate? To me these donkeys are leaning towards each other to show they are on the same team and literally lean on each other for connection and reassurance.
